Stickman Sound, Inc. ("we", "us") is a Las Vegas, Nevada production-audio company. This page describes the text-message (SMS) program we use to coordinate with the sound crew and contractors we hire for productions, and how recipients consent to and opt out of those messages.
We send text messages only to sound crew, freelancers, and contractors with whom we have an existing working relationship — production sound mixers, boom operators, sound utility, A2s, comms techs, and similar audio roles — who have given us their mobile number for scheduling coordination. We do not text the general public, and we do not send marketing or promotional texts.
Messages are operational and transactional. Typical messages:
A representative message:
Hi Jamie, Stickman Sound here. Checking your availability for a corporate broadcast as Production Sound Mixer on May 1-3. Reply 1=CONFIRM, 2=PASS, 3=NEED MORE TIME.
Crew and contractors provide their mobile number to us directly when we engage them for production work (onboarding, hiring, or accepting a booking). When a crew member sets up their account on our Stickman HQ crew portal, they check an unchecked-by-default box agreeing to receive scheduling text messages from Stickman Sound, Inc.; the consent is recorded with a timestamp against their account. This is one-to-one, relationship-based communication, not a bulk marketing list, and we do not buy or rent phone numbers. The exact consent control is published publicly at /sms-optin.
Frequency varies with production activity. Recipients receive messages only in connection with specific shoots they are being scheduled for; there is no fixed recurring frequency.
We do not charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
We use mobile numbers only to coordinate production scheduling. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers with third parties for marketing. Our messaging provider processes delivery on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy for more.
